What does the bible say about curse words? Ephesians 4:29 says "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." 1Peter 3:10 also says "For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile." Why is it a sin you may ask? Sin is a condition of the heart, the mind, and “the inner man” (Romans 7:22) , which is manifested in our thoughts, actions and words. When we swear and curse, we are giving evidence of the polluting sin in our hearts that must be confessed and repented of. Thankfully, our great God is “faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). When this happens, we receive a new nature from God (2 Corinthians 5:17), our hearts are transformed, and our speech reflects the new nature God has created within us. You can speak blessings or curses over your life just by the very things you say. Not only could it be through cursing but through jestures involving doing harm to yourself or anyone else as a word of being sarcastic. For example if someone tells someone, "Where having a huge history test on Monday!"said Jimmy. "Oh kill me now"replied Tom. That is a way of speaking curses over his life. Words are very important even if YOU think it's innocent when the bible cleary states how bad words could be towards your life, you should choose your words wisely. The bible says in Proverbs 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." When you sow bad fruits in your life, you will reap what you sow. (Galatians 6:3-8) Refrain from evil words and start making your words positive no matter what.
THE GOOD NEWS!!!!1John 1:9 says "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God is a merciful God, He will forgive us from all of the bad things we have said. After you ask God to forgive you, you don't have to no longer live your life in fear thinking God will punish you because of the bad things you have said or done. He will erase away all of those things. If your not saved, the bible says in Romans10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." That's an everlasting life confession and from then on you will have everlasting life. Trust in Jesus and make HIM your saviour TODAY! Tomorrow is not promised! So think about how your life and where you will spend eternity.
Dear Lord,I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Random how I ended up on this page but it caught my eye. Beautiful!
